Michael Fitzgerald-Clarke

Poet in Residence M. F-C was in the Townsville Bulletin a few days ago.
He certainly is putting poetry in North Queensland on the map. Mary Vernon wrote a piece on Michael.

POETRY has not been, to date, a popular spectator sport in Townsville. We are much more inclined to spend an evening at the footy, the basketball or the pub than at a poetry slam.
But that may well be about to change, compliments of our poet-in-residence Michael Fitzgerald-Clarke.

WiTS in NQ Life

OK, I'm guest blogging here. So just a quick word that WiTS appeared in the nq Life magazine from the Townsville Bulletin dated October 15th. There is a photo of WiTS member Shaun Allen (me) who couldn't stop cracking up laughing when the photos were being taken, and just a short blurb on WiTS and what we get up to. It's all good fun and a great learning experience if you’re just starting out as a writer or have completed your book and don't know what to do next. So call or e-mail or just walk in one night. We hope to see new faces every week. http://www.townsvillebulletin.com.au/nqlife/
