Well, poet Michael Fitzgerald-Clarke will not only take you on a guided
tour of the history of the sonnet, he will help you to appreciate some sonnets
from before The Bard picked up a quill right up to the twenty-first century.
And after lunch, you will
have the opportunity, with Michael’s help, to write a sonnet or two of your
own!

Hi WITS! Firstly my apologies for posting this in the comments section. I couldn't find a better place to post just a general inquiry! Hopefully you don't mind and hopefully I have found the right place.
ReplyDeleteI have just finished writing my first novel, and have completed a second draft just today. It now needs some outside perspective and critique, and no doubt some serious editing to try and transform it from a messy manuscript to ideally something worth reading!
I was wondering if it is worth talking with Writers in Townsville and getting some advise or opinions.
Anything at all will be a help!
